Twice a runner-up in the championship, Burns (Rob Boston Racing) is determined to make it third time lucky this season. He gave his title bid a huge boost last time out at Croft, with two wins and a second place finish moving him back to the top of the points standings.
Burns’ closest rival in the points at present is the standout rookie on the 2020 grid, Gus Burton (Century Motorsport). The Ginetta Junior graduate has impressively finished off the podium only twice all season and picked up three race wins so far; a tally only beaten by Burns.
Hibbert (Triple M Motorsport) had headed to Croft as the points leader, however he endured his toughest meeting of the campaign so far. His focus will now be on getting back to the top with success at a circuit he finished on the podium at back in 2017.
Adam Smalley (Elite Motorsport) and Jamie Falvey (Motion Capital Racing) complete the top five in the points standings and both know that a big points haul this weekend could see them head into the season finale in title contention.

Falvey meanwhile secured his first two wins in the series a meeting prior at Thruxton and has four podiums so far. Hoping to be the next to break into the top three is Joe Marshall-Birks (Rob Boston Racing), having picked up a seasons’ best fourth place finish at Croft.
The Pro Am battle is heating up heading into the final two meetings. Colin White (CWS Motorsport) moved to the top of the class standings last time out with a triple podium, having also reached the milestone of 200 race starts in the GT4 SuperCup.
Erstwhile leader Chris Salkeld (Century Motorsport) isn’t far behind having matched White’s tally of 13 podiums in 14 races so far, though quickly catching them both up is Tom Emson (Elite Motorsport) courtesy of four pole positions and six class wins in a row.
Going two better in the Am class to equal the all-time record for most consecutive class wins in the GT4 SuperCup with eight is Carl Garnett (AK Motorsport). That has moved him right onto the tail of top three regular Stewart Lines (Triple M Motorsport), who holds a 13 point lead.
Close behind is Nick Halstead (Fox Motorsport), who has more podium finishes to date than those above him. Lee Goldsmith (Assetto Motorsport) is another class front-runner, while making his debut this weekend is 2019 Ginetta G40 Cup title contender Daniel Morris (Triple M Motorsport).
Two other drivers are also entering the series for the first time. Experienced tin-top driver Luke Reade (Graves Motorsport) joins the grid ahead of a planned 2021 campaign, while Callum Jenkins (Team HARD) enters with previous experience racing a Ginetta G55 in the GT Cup.
