William Antrobus and Cameron Pratt Thompson sit level on points at the top of the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship standings as the second half of the 2026 season gets underway this weekend at Snetterton.
Antrobus (Elite Motorsport) is the in-form driver in the championship, bouncing back from a tough start to the campaign to charge up the order. A sensational hat-trick last time out at Croft was the latest chapter of his brilliant debut Ginetta season, making it five wins in his last eight races.
Pratt Thompson (SVG Motorsport) has been the epitome of consistency this year meanwhile, as the only PRO class driver to finish every race to date. The second-year driver has accrued seven podium finishes and secured a long-awaited maiden race victory at Croft.
2025 PRO AM champion Harry Gamble (Elite Motorsport) is hot on the heels of the top two as he targets a second consecutive GT Championship title. A great start to the season saw him win three of the opening five races, and he’s been a consistent presence on the podium since.
Felix Livesey returns to the grid this weekend aiming to build on his two podium finishes in the opening two rounds of the season, while his Orion SPR team-mate Louis Darling will be keen to add more silverware to his tally after scoring his maiden podiums at Oulton Park.
A new driver will be competing in the championship this weekend, Vladislav Tomenchuk (Elite Motorsport). The British-Ukrainian racer makes the step up from Ginetta Juniors, having picked up a couple of top ten finishes since debuting at the start of the season.
In the AM class, Alex Duncan (Xentek Motorsport) leads the way with an impressive 31-point advantage. Contesting his second GT Championship season, he’s finished on the AM podium in every race so far and impressively picked up four class wins and two overall third place results.
James Nicholas (E3 Sport) joins Duncan in celebrating four AM victories this season. He will be hoping to close the gap between them at one of his favourite circuits, having previously finished on the podium in all six of his races at Snetterton across his two seasons in the Ginetta GT Academy.
Another driver heading to Norfolk with a good history there is Jamie Caudle (E3 Sport), who won twice there last year in the GT Academy. He’s secured one AM class victory this season at Oulton Park and he’ll be eager to take to the top step of the podium again this weekend.
Completing the AM contingent are car-racing rookie Elliot Foster (MDD Motorsport) and GT Academy graduate Lucie Hodgson (Orion SPR). Both have shown great progression across their maiden GT Championship campaigns, enjoying their maiden class podium finishes at Oulton Park.
