Henry tackled his maiden season of car-racing this year as one of the two Ginetta Junior Scholarship winners on the grid. A strong campaign saw him record 18 points finishes, with a maiden overall top ten result coming at Knockhill.
The 16 year old from Birmingham followed that up with a breakthrough weekend in the Winter Series at Brands Hatch last month. Qualifying in the top four overall on both days, he was in the battle for the podium as he secured a highest race result of fifth.
Maurice Henry: “I’m so pleased to confirm a second year in Ginetta Juniors with Fox Motorsport. My rookie season was a big challenge, but together, we made progress through the year and this was probably clearest in the Winter Series.
“I’m in a pretty similar place now that my team-mate Liam was at the end of year one, and he was a title contender this season. That’s where I want to be; making a big step, improving the pace and the consistency and fighting much closer to the front.”
Henry is the third confirmed driver of a planned four car entry into the 2022 Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship for Fox Motorsport. He joins this season’s overall runner-up Liam McNeilly and Jacob Hodgkiss, who switched to the Essex based squad for the Winter Series.

“He’s already shown with his qualifying and race performances in the Winter Series that he’s well on the way to being a driver a lot of people are watching out for next year.”
The Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s longest running and most prestigious Junior series, offering the first step on the motorsport ladder for 14-17 year old racing drivers as they compete on the support bill for the British Touring Car Championship.
