Leading the entry are two of the title contenders from last season, Will Burns and Tom Hibbert. Running with two-time champions Rob Boston Racing, Burns is determined to make it third time lucky in his quest for the title this year after finishing as runner-up in 2016 and 2019.
Burns, who has an impressive 49 GT4 SuperCup podium finishes to his name, will renew battle with experienced foe Hibbert (Triple M Motorsport). Hibbert finished third in the points last year after picking up five race wins and 14 podiums.
Elite Motorsport won the title last year with Harry King and spearheading their defence of the title is a driver with a rich history of Ginetta success, Adam Smalley. The former Ginetta Junior scholarship winner, Winter Series victor and overall champion finished fourth in the GT5 Challenge last year.
Two drivers from the Ginetta Junior class of 2019 are on the grid. Race-winner Tom Emson stays with Elite for a first full season after stepping up for the final two events last year, while fellow talented teenager Gus Burton leads the charge for former champions Century Motorsport.
Podium-finisher Fin Green (Rob Boston Racing) will be up against them in his second GT4 SuperCup campaign, while former Caterham champion Jamie Falvey (Motion Capital Racing) and Luke Williams (Maximum Motorsport) are exciting additions to the GT4 SuperCup family.
The two most experienced drivers in series history are back on the grid this year, with Reece Somerfield (Privateer) and Colin White (CWS Racing) entering the Pro and Pro Am classes respectively with more than 180 GT4 SuperCup race starts each.
White’s competition in the new-for-2020 Pro Am category will be reigning Ginetta G40 Cup champion Chris Salkeld (Assetto Motorsport), former BTCC racer Stewart Lines (Maximum Motorsport) and series newcomer Joe Marshall (Rob Boston Racing).
In the Am class meanwhile, four-time podium finisher from 2019 Carl Garnett (AK Motorsport) is joined by 2018 GT5 Challenge Am class winner Nick Halstead (Fox Motorsport), G40 Cup graduate Lee Goldsmith (Assetto Motorsport) and former Porsche class champion Peter Mangion (Elite Motorsport).
