  • Junior Composite Laminator

    Ginetta’s Carbon shop is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our rapidly expanding team, as a Junior Composite Laminator you will be responsible for producing high quality pre-preg composite components for our various race and road car projects.

    As a Composite Laminator, it will be your job to:

    • Lamination of pre-preg components
    • Seal and release of tooling
    • Vacuum bagging for autoclave
    • Demoulding of composite components
    • Autoclave and oven operation
    • Cutting/preparing core materials
    • Keep work areas tidy and clean

    The successful candidate will:

    • Great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Good dexterity and coordination
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and precise in work
    • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
    • Good housekeeping and adherence to health and safety guidelines
    • Preferably, understanding of hand and power tools, but full training will be provided

  • MIG Welder

    About the role:

    We are looking to recruit a MIG Welder to join our team.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • M.I.G welder/fabricator to work in the Fabrication Department
    • To assist the fabrication team with the build schedule of tubular chassis
    • To manufacture components using technical drawings
    • M.I.G weld mild steel
    • Sub-assembly of fabricated components including use of jigs
    • Basic T.I.G welding ability is beneficial but not essential
    • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by Group management from time to time.

    Suitable Candidate will have:

    • Basic mechanical knowledge

  • Senior Engine Builder

    About the role:

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engine Builder to join ourgrowing team in Garforth. As part of the role you will be assisting in the three main engine platforms, providing attention to detail in a variety of disciplines required to take an engine from component level to production line and be assembly ready.

    As a Senior Engine Builder, it will be your job to:

    • Work on production and prototype engines
    • Follow established safety procedures.
    • Follow established build processes.
    • Keep to an established level of component cleanliness.
    • Maintain a good level of cleanliness within the department.
    • Communicate and resolve quality issues as they arise
    • Monitor and plan ahead for production schedules
    • Maintain realistic time management.
    • Ensure stock is correctly logged throughout the system
    • Ensure records are kept up to date

    The successful candidate will:

    • Have a good understanding and interest in engineering principals.
    • Show evidence of previous engine building which is essential.
    • Demonstrate the ability to understand and use measuring and inspection equipment, bore micrometers, dial gauges etc.
    • An in-depth level of understanding of an internal combustion engine architecture, motion and function is essential.
    • Have computer and common software awareness including folders & filing, Excel, Outlook and Word.
    • Show some understanding of Engine management systems.
    • Have a keen eye for detail, cleanliness and is willing to follow an established process within a team.

  • Production Support Engineer

    About the role:

    We are seeking an analytical and technically proficient Production Support Engineer to join our motorsport manufacturing team in Garforth. In this role, you will bridge the gap between internal as well as external departments and the shop floor. Ensuring that departments and assembly teams flow smoothly and efficiently. Aiming to drive continuous improvement to minimise downtime and optimize build times and parts supply

    As a Production Support Engineer, it will be your job to:

    • Follow established safety procedures
    • Follow established build processes and help to improve these along the way
    • Communicate and resolve quality issues as they arise
    • Schedule and continuously monitor work within production schedules
    • Report Variance
    • Maintain realistic time management
    • Work with department heads to manage stock well in advance
    • Assist with Works orders and Purchase Orders within teams
    • Highlight and make changes to bill of materials and assemblies
    • Ensure records are kept up to date

    The successful candidate will:

    • Have Experience in production integration techniques, working with multiple departments of different disciplines
    • Have a good understanding and interest in manufacturing and engineering principals
    • Have computer and common software awareness including folders & filing, Excel, Outlook and Word
    • Have worked with Sage 200 previously
    • Have a keen eye for detail, cleanliness and is willing to follow an established process within a team

  • Junior Automotive Wiring Technician

    • Have a good understanding of pre-preg laminating a minimum of 1 years’ experience is essential
    • Be able to laminate parts with minimal input from other colleagues,
    • Have confidence in following technical drawings/ lay-up manuals
    • Show an understanding of material orientation (preferred)
    • Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
    • Have the ability to follow both written and verbal instruction.
    • Show great dexterity and co-ordination
    • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, consistently work with precision and care.
    • Have excellent work ethic and able to work within a team as well as independently
    • Be able to work to deadline, and to manage own timekeeping
    • Have good housekeeping, able to work with cleanliness and follow health and safety guidelines
