Taylor will make his debut in the GT5 Challenge after a successful two year spell in the Juniors. Entering the series as the Scholarship winner, the Yorshireman picked up podium finishes in his maiden campaign before securing four race wins last year and then the Winter honours.
After a season away, Sekkat makes a welcome return to Ginetta competition this year. While the 49 year old will be entering the GT5 Challenge for the first time, he has plenty of experience in a Ginetta G40 having contested the 2016 GRDC and then two campaigns in the G40 Cup.
Bennett meanwhile, son of regular Caterham racer Tony, will be making his car-racing debut this season following a short career in karting. The team’s four-car entry is completed by the previously announced Daniel Budd.

“Our driver line-up has a good range of experience and we’re excited to work with such a friendly group. James immediately clicked with the team since joining last year and could well challenge for the title, while we’ll be aiming to make good progress with Daniel, Karim and John.”
Packed grids and close racing makes the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge a popular entry-level championship for many aspiring GT racers. In 2020, the series will compete across both British GT and British Touring Car Championship weekends.
