Xentek Motorsport will be continuing their long-standing partnership with Conner Garlick this season. They team up for an exciting campaign in the headline GT Pro class of the brand-new for 2023 Ginetta GT Championship.

Following a rich history together in the GT5 Challenge and GT4 SuperCup in recent years, Xentek Motorsport and Garlick will compete in both a third-different Ginetta championship and a third model of car as they get to grips with the manufacturer’s latest offering, the Ginetta G56 GTP.

Garlick first competed with Xentek in the GT5 Challenge in 2020, sensationally taking a podium finish in only his second race. More front-running results followed across the season, before he returned to the series for a partial campaign the following year.

The 19-year-old stepped up to the GT4 SuperCup for 2022, driving a Ginetta G55 GT4. Immediately fighting for silverware in the competitive G55 Pro class, Garlick would visit the podium on no less than nine occasions through the campaign, as well as netting a great pole position at Knockhill.

With more than 60 Ginetta race starts under his belt now, the Kent based racer is hoping to use all of his experience to establish himself as a leading contender in the GT Pro class this season, as he competes with headline sponsorship from EU Tags.

Sarah-Jayne McKenna – Team Manager:

“We’ve really enjoyed racing with Conner over the last few years, so we’re thrilled he’s decided to stay with us for another season. It’s an exciting move for all of us, into a new class with a new specification of car, but we’re confident that with Conner’s talent and experience, he’ll be right at the sharp end of the grid this year.”

Conner Garlick:

“I am looking forward to being back with Ginetta this season and tackling a new championship with a new car. After some great years racing with Xentek Motorsport, I’m delighted to be with them again and hopefully we can enjoy another hugely positive year together.”

The new-for-2023 Ginetta GT Championship sits atop the manufacturer’s ladder of domestic championships, offering the next step for young drivers aiming for careers in GT racing. The series will be contested over 23 races across eight events, six of which will be in support of the British GT Championship.
