Ginetta title-winning squad E3 Sport will be entering the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship for the first time next season, alongside the continuation of their successful programme in the Ginetta GT Academy.
E3 Sport enjoyed a fantastic 2024 season, securing a pair of title victories. Julian Wantling picked up six class wins on his way to the GTA honours in the GT Academy, while Ginetta Junior scholar Jude Peters dominated the Freshmans Cup with 17 wins from 25 races.
The East Midlands-based team accumulated an impressive total of 31 podium finishes in the GT Academy this year across the GTA, rookie and guest classes. They will have more success in their sights when they return to the grid next season with multiple Ginetta G56 GTA’s.
They will also be aiming to mount a front-running challenge in their debut campaign in the GT Championship with the new-for-2025 Ginetta G56 GTP8, whilst their support of young talent will continue with testing programmes in Ginetta G40 Junior Evo machinery.
Jim Edwards – E3 Sport Team Principal:

We are delighted to be continuing in the Ginetta GT Academy in 2025, but also excited to announce our participation in the Ginetta GT Championship with the new G56 GTP8’s. The cars look and sound incredible and are a seriously quick machine!”
