Pace Performance Set For Three-Car Ginetta Junior Entry In 2026

Leading Ginetta Junior Championship team Pace Performance will be mounting a three-car entry for 2026, with the returning Harry Bartle joined by rookies Henry Carter and Pearce Wade.

Pace Performance are preparing for their third consecutive season of Ginetta Junior competition. A breakthrough 2025 campaign saw the Shropshire-based squad secure their maiden overall podium finishes and pole positions in the championship.

Bartle linked up with the team midway through his rookie campaign last year and went on to pick up a maiden rookie class podium at Brands Hatch. He then signed off his impressive season with a first outright top three result in the Winter Series at Silverstone.

Harry Bartle: “I’d like to thank Sean and everyone at Pace Performance for giving me the opportunity to race another season in the Ginetta Junior Championship. I’m really looking forward to getting back on track and fighting at the sharp end with the aim of pushing for the top spot.”

Sean Byrne, Pace Performance: “Since joining us last year, Harry Bartle has shown real maturity and an inner drive to perform at the highest level. The progress he’s made in such a short time is impressive, and we’re committed to giving him everything he needs to be in the best possible position for success this season.”

Carter and Wade meanwhile will be making their Ginetta debuts with strong karting pedigrees. Canadian-born racer Wade showcased his talents on the world stage in the ROTAX Grand Finals in 2024, while Carter has enjoyed success in high-level X30 competition.

Henry Carter: “I’m really looking forward to the season with Pace Performance. Joining the team just felt like the right move for me, and it’s a great next step in my racing career. I’m ready to grow, challenge myself and make the most of this Ginetta Junior Championship season.”

Pearce Wade: “I am incredibly proud to say I will be racing with Pace Performance for the 2026 Ginetta Junior season and it’s an honour to represent Canada in such a prestigious championship. I can’t wait to get started!”

Sean Byrne, Pace Performance: “Henry has impressed everyone with his determination, enthusiasm and natural speed, which have all shone through from the moment he arrived. We’re confident that with continued support and development, he’ll become an even stronger force as the season progresses.

“Pearce brings valuable international karting experience and a clear determination to excel as he steps up to this new challenge. His time competing abroad has given him a strong foundation to adapt quickly to new circuits and conditions. We’re confident he’ll continue to grow as he takes on this next stage of his career.”

The Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s longest running and most prestigious Junior series, offering the first step on the motorsport ladder for 14-17 year old racing drivers as they compete on the support bill for the British GT Championship.
