Championship Standings Update – Post Silverstone

Following a great weekend of racing at Silverstone, here are the latest championship standings for the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge And Ginetta G40 Cup.

In the Ginetta GT5 Challenge Pro Class, Geri Nicosia continues to sit at the top of the standings, though Scott McKenna has closed the gap following his first two victories in the championship. Adam Smalley, Connor Grady and Gordie Mutch lead the chasing pack.

In the Am Class, Dale Albutt and Wesley Pearce took a double podium finish each at Silverstone to maintain their status in the top two of the standings, while Fox Motorsport team-mates Matt Konczos and James Townsend are now level on points behind.

A fantastic four-way battle for supremacy is emerging at the top of the Ginetta G40 Cup standings. Less than 50 points separate the top four, with Alistair Barclay leading the way from Rob Keogh, who edged closer courtesy of his Silverstone victory.

With seven podium finishes in the opening eight races of the season, Roy Alderslade has built a strong lead at the top of the Chairmans Cup standings. Martin Wills remains his closest challenger, while Julian Wantling completes the top three.
