Junior Automotive Wiring Technician
Job profile

We are looking to recruit a Junior Wiring Technician to join our growing electrical department. Although predominantly team based, you must also have the ability to work on your own with the flexibility to meet deadlines.
As a Ginetta Wiring Technician, you will be working to produce wiring looms & harnesses for a number of high-end road and race cars, whilst paying particular attention to the packaging and integration of electrical systems onto the vehicles to optimise performance.
A background in electronics is preferred but not essential, and any experience/competencies in other aspects of automotive manufacture is also beneficial. Under the mentorship and experienced guidance of our senior staff, this is the perfect opportunity for a graduate to begin their career in a forward thinking, fast paced, multi-faceted automotive manufacturer.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to follow work instructions and read technical/electrical drawings
- Ability to manage & maintain a catalogue of electrical hardware
- Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose and problem solve
- Have good hand dexterity and ability to use a wide range of tools
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously under pressure
- Have the ability of meeting targets and work in a fast-paced industry
- Be approachable & have a willingness to develop and learn
- Excellent team spirit and work ethic
- Good Engineering understanding and appreciation towards manufacturing practices

Assembly Engineer
Job profile
We are looking to recruit an Assembly Engineer to join our growing manufacturing plant.
As an assembly engineer, you will be producing from component form a number of high-performance GT and Prototype race cars. All cars must be assembled to the highest possible standards, paying particular attention to consistent quality, testing & inspection whilst maintaining a well-ordered workspace.
A background in manufacturing/assembly is preferred, and any experience/competencies within the automotive industry would be beneficial. Having a genuine interest in Motorsport is also recommended. Junior Composite Finisher
About the role:
Ginetta’s carbon shop is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Junior Finisher/Production Operative, you will be responsible for bonding, filling, and polishing carbon fibre parts for various race and road car projects, along with general workshop duties such as demoulding, mould maintenance, and kit cutting.
As a Junior Composite Finisher, it will be your job to:
- Flattening and polishing various composite components by hand and machine Seal and release of tooling
- Preparing and bonding composite components
- Bonding and fixing fasteners
- Demoulding composite parts
- Maintaining moulds to a high standard
- Cutting/preparing core materials
- Keep work areas tidy and clean
- Collaborating with the autoclave technician to cut materials and create lamination kits
The successful candidate will:
- Great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good dexterity and coordination
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and precise in work
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
- Good housekeeping and adherence to health and safety guidelines
- Preferably, understanding of hand and power tools, but full training will be provided

Composite Laminator
About the role:
Ginetta’s carbon shop is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our rapidly expanding team, as a composite laminator you will be responsible for producing high quality pre-preg composite parts for our various race and road car projects.
As a Composite Laminator, it will be your job to:
- Lamination of pre-preg components
- Seal and release of tooling
- Vacuum bagging for both oven and autoclave
- Demoulding composite parts
- Autoclave and oven operation
- Cutting/preparing core materials
- Keep work areas tidy and clean
The successful candidate will:
- Have a good understanding of pre-preg laminating a minimum of 1 years’ experience is essential
- Be able to laminate parts with minimal input from other colleagues,
- Have confidence in following technical drawings/ lay-up manuals
- Show an understanding of material orientation (preferred)
- Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Have the ability to follow both written and verbal instruction.
- Show great dexterity and co-ordination
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, consistently work with precision and care.
- Have excellent work ethic and able to work within a team as well as independently
- Be able to work to deadline, and to manage own timekeeping
- Have good housekeeping, able to work with cleanliness and follow health and safety guidelines
