Former Ginetta GT Academy champions SVG Motorsport will once again have a presence across both the GT Academy and the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship in 2026.
Cameron Pratt-Thompson will return for a second year in the GT Championship with SVG. The 17-year-old talent enjoyed an impressive first season of one-make Ginetta racing, securing PRO class podium finishes at Silverstone and Donington Park on his way to fifth in the final class standings.
Cameron Pratt-Thompson: “I’m fully focused on the task ahead and determined to push for the championship title. With the support of SVG Motorsport, I believe we’re in a strong position to achieve that goal.”

SVG’s entry into the GT Academy will come with a pair of Ginetta newcomers. Lucas Theo will be graduating from Senior Rotax karting to make his car-racing debut, while Ian Beaumont joins the grid with a rich pedigree in oval racing. The Romford-based driver is a former English, European and World champion in 1300cc stock cars and European champion in Superstox.
Lucas Theo: “I’m incredibly excited to get the season underway. I’d like to thank SVG Motorsport for their continued support, as well as Ginetta for producing such an outstanding car.”
Ian Beaumont: “I’m thrilled to be entering the Ginetta GT Academy with SVG Motorsport this season. I’m looking forward to a new challenge coming from oval racing.”
