While they are a new name to the Ginetta paddock, team principal Luca Hirst leads a squad with a wealth of experience in Ginetta competition. Hirst himself is a former GT5 Challenge racer and most recently worked as chief mechanic for the multiple title-winning W2R Motorsport outfit.<\/p>\n
The West Yorkshire-based team has confirmed Stephen Docker as an entrant into this year\u2019s Ginetta Racing Drivers Club, while a three-pronged attack on the G40 Cup will come from Chris White, Paulo Scripo and Ignazio Zanon, all of whom made their racing debuts in the 2019 GRDC.\n <\/p>\n
White enjoyed an impressive first campaign behind the wheel of a Ginetta G40, becoming a consistent presence in the top six in the GRDC before making his G40 Cup debut at the end of the campaign. Scripo meanwhile secured seven top ten results in eight races.\n <\/p>\n
Italian student Zanon was a fellow top ten regular and took a best result of eighth in the season finale at Brands Hatch, while Docker makes a welcome return to Ginetta competition, having been crowned the 2018 GRDC runner-up with a hugely impressive 100% podium record. <\/p>\n

In 2020, the Ginetta G40 Cup and Ginetta Racing Drivers Club (GRDC) are sharing a grid as they race in support of the British GT Championship.
