After taking a maiden podium finish in just his third meeting at Silverstone, five further top three results followed through the campaign. The highlight was a maiden victory and new lap record at Donington Park, which has filled him with confidence for 2020.\n <\/p>\n
Josh Malin: \u201cFor a while I had serious doubts that we\u2019d be able to get the funding together to return for a second season, so it\u2019s great to have my place on the grid for the start of the season and we have to try and now build on the results we secured last year.<\/i>\n <\/p>\n
\u201cLast year was a bit of a baptism of fire, but I started well and was able to build on my results as the year went on. With a season of experience and knowledge under my belt, I can take a lot of confidence into 2020 and the goal has to be to challenge for the title.\u201d<\/i>\n <\/p>\n
Entering his first season of car-racing is Angliss, who will celebrate his 17th birthday on the weekend of the opening rounds at Oulton Park. A former finalist in the Ginetta Junior Scholarship, the Coventry-based racer has previously enjoyed a successful karting career.\n <\/p>\n
Blake Angliss: \u201cFinding out I could pursue the next stage of my racing career by entering the Ginetta GT5 Challenge has been amazing and I\u2019m really excited about the season ahead. The series is ideal for me as it is really competitive and offers great racing.<\/i>\n <\/p>\n
\u201cJoining forces with Richardson Racing was an easy option because they have been very friendly since I met them back at the Ginetta Junior Scholarship. As a rookie, I\u2019m looking to go out and enjoy myself, but ultimately I want to try and push towards the sharp end of the grid.\u201d<\/i>\n <\/p>\n
