Current Ginetta Junior scholar Lebbon (Elite Motorsport) is chasing championship history this season as the first rookie driver to win the overall title. He moved to the top of the standings last time out at Thruxton, with a podium double making it eight for the season so far.<\/p>\n
The erstwhile points leader was Bailey Voisin (R Racing), who has starred in his second campaign. His five race wins is more than anyone else, having won at least once per weekend so far, however he now needs to bounce back strongly from a first DNF of the season in the Thruxton finale. <\/p>\n
While it was shaping up to be a two-way title duel, a stunning run of results for Josh Rattican (R Racing) has thrust him into the title spotlight. Two wins in the last three races, his maiden successes in the series, coupled with good podium consistency all year has put him right in contention.\n <\/p>\n
Georgi Dimitrov (Richardson Racing) has hugely impressed this year with two wins in the Donington Park season opener and a further success at Knockhill. A tough Thruxton weekend lost him ground in the points, but the rookie talent won\u2019t be giving up his title aspirations yet.\n <\/p>\n
Alongside Voisin and Rattican, R Racing have also been fighting at the front with three other drivers. Joel Pearson and Aston Millar both have a couple of overall podium finishes to their name, while Freddie Tomlinson led a Ginetta Junior race for the first time at Thruxton.\n <\/p>\n
Elite Motorsport duo Seb Hopkins and Josh Miller will be in confident mood after recording their best ever qualifying and race results at Thruxton. They are joined by team-mates William Vincent, Tommy Pintos and William Aspin as being regular top ten finishers through the season.\n <\/p>\n
Tom Edgar (TCR) has firmly established himself as one to watch in the lead pack after taking a fourth place finish and rookie podium at each of the last two meetings, while Will Jenkins (Privateer) replicated those results during a breakthrough weekend at Knockhill.\n <\/p>\n
Zak Taylor (Alistair Rushforth Motorsport) has shown fantastic pace this year and picked up an overall podium finish back at Donington Park. Liam McNeilly (Fox Motorsport) meanwhile has impressed with his racecraft, gaining more places from his grid positions than anyone else.\n <\/p>\n
The entry list is completed by four drivers targeting breakthrough top ten finishes in the championship; Richardson Racing team-mates Trennon Bettany and Rowan Vincent, Joe Wheeler (Assetto Motorsport) and Will Rochford (TCR), as well as debutant James Higgins (Preptech UK).\n<\/p>\n
