The former BTCC racer hit top form last month, moving to the top of the points with a double win at Croft and then strengthening his position with another victory at Snetterton. Five wins for the season, more than anyone else, have put him in prime position for the finale.\n <\/p>\n
Gus Burton (Century Motorsport) is now the only driver that can beat him to the crown after a superb first season in the championship. The Ginetta Junior graduate has more podium finishes than anyone else, however two DNF\u2019s to Burns\u2019 zero has lost him crucial points. <\/p>\n
Tom Hibbert (Rob Boston Racing) slipped out of title contention last time, but is more than capable of adding to his three race wins to date. That victory tally is matched by Adam Smalley (Elite Motorsport), who is on form with successes in each of the last two meetings.\n <\/p>\n
Jamie Falvey (Motion Capital Racing) has impressed across his maiden campaign and picked up a couple of wins back at Thruxton, while fellow first year contender Joe Marshall-Birks (Rob Boston Racing) will be determined to end the year with a breakthrough podium finish.\n <\/p>\n
All three class titles are up for grabs this weekend. In the Pro Am category, Ginetta stalwart Colin White (CWS Motorsport) has built a strong 31 point lead over Chris Salkeld (Century Motorsport), while nine-time race-winner Tom Emson (Elite Motorsport) has a mathematical chance too.\n <\/p>\n
It\u2019s a three-way battle in the Ams too. The ultra-consistent Stewart Lines (Triple M Motorsport) has a 15 point advantage over Carl Garnett (AK Motorsport), with Nick Halstead (Fox Motorsport) only two points further back. Their battle is sure to go down to the final race of the year.\n <\/p>\n
Lee Goldsmith (Assetto Motorsport) completes the Am class entry, Luke Reade (Graves Motorsport) makes a second consecutive appearance in Pro, while Eric Boulton (Team HARD) returns to the Pro Am class having made his debut at Thruxton.\n <\/p>\n
