The most dominant title victory on the whole TOCA package came from Harry King. The 2019 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup champion and multiple Junior race-winner stole the show in his first season in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB as their scholarship driver.<\/p>\n
Showcasing the same raw speed and racecraft he become synonymous for during his climb up the Ginetta ranks, the 19 year old produced a stunning record of seven pole positions in eight sessions and 12 wins in 16 races en-route to the championship.\n <\/p>\n
Also tasting title success was Esmee Hawkey, with the former Junior racer picking up the Pro Am crown. Three of the top four positions in their Rookie class were filled by 2019 Ginetta talents too; GT5 Challenge champion Scott McKenna and Junior race-winners Will Martin and Lorcan Hanafin.\n <\/p>\n
The MINI Challenge made its debut on the TOCA package this season and a number of Ginetta alumni were battling at the head of the field. Emerging as champion after a superb campaign was Nathan Harrison, a front-runner during a spell in the Juniors in 2012.\n <\/p>\n
Finishing as the overall runner-up and the Graduate Cup winner was Dan Zelos, one of five other race-winners on the grid who started their careers in the Juniors. Joining him was Max Bird, Max Coates and 2017 GT5 Challenge champion Lewis Brown.\n <\/p>\n
In the F4 British Championship, the front-running pack was full of Ginetta graduates. A sensational title battle came down to the final race of the season between Luke Browning and Zak O\u2019Sullivan; the former taking the honours by just four points.\n <\/p>\n
O\u2019Sullivan was one of four drivers in the top six of the standings to be contesting their first season in single-seaters, having competed with Ginetta last year. The others were Junior champion James Hedley, race-winner Casper Stevenson and GT5 Challenge front-runner Abbi Pulling.\n <\/p>\n
In the British Touring Car Championship itself, 2018 GT4 SuperCup Am champion Michael Crees continued his impressive rise up the motorsport ladder with Jack Sears Trophy title success. Runner-up to him was 2018 GT4 SuperCup Pro vice-champion Carl Boardley.\n <\/p>\n
Amongst the drivers to win races in the series this year were previous GT4 SuperCup champions Tom Ingram, Tom Oliphant and Adam Morgan. Fellow former GT4 racer Ollie Jackson scored his first two wins in the series, while ex-Juniors Jake Hill and Senna Proctor finished on the podium.\n <\/p>\n
