R Racing have been on a record-breaking run of success in the Ginetta Junior Championship powered by Sunoco Race Fuels in recent years<\/strong>. They have now<\/strong> added a new milestone to their CV in the 2026 season opener.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of Lewis Goff\u2019s three victories at Donington Park was R Racing\u2019s 100th win in Ginetta Junior<\/a> competition. They become the first team to reach a century of victories in the category, achieving the feat almost seven years to the day of their Ginetta debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R Racing took their maiden win halfway through their first campaign in 2019, in the hands of Zak O\u2019Sullivan at Snetterton. A total of 22 drivers have shared out the now 102 wins. The most prolific winners to date has been Freddie Slater (19), Josh Rowledge (11) and Rocco Coronel (11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the guidance of team principals Jamie Ross and Nathan Read, R Racing have contested 194 races in total across the main Junior championship and Winter Series. They won 53% of the time – a level of success they admit they could have never dreamt of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a special achievement for the team,\u201d<\/em> said Read. \u201cIt highlights everyone’s hard work over the years and continues to now. When we first set out with our racing, we didn\u2019t expect to be getting one win, let alone 100. We\u2019re so proud of everyone, and now we go for 200!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the Donington Park season opener is anything to go by, they show no signs of slowing down. Alongside their clean sweep of the victories, they celebrated a one-two-three result in the last race. They collected 13 trophies in total across the overall and rookie podiums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re just as hungry for success as ever.<\/em> This is probably the best start to a season we\u2019ve ever had. As well as fighting for wins and titles, what\u2019s important to us is having great depth in our team,\u201d <\/em>added Ross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had all six of our drivers finish in the top ten in a couple of the races this weekend<\/em>. We<\/em> feel that all round this is our strongest ever driver line-up. Everyone is capable of enjoying great results and we can\u2019t wait for the season ahead.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship competition is powered by Sunoco Race Fuels<\/a>.
