Scoring a maiden race win in the 2018 G40 Cup season finale, the hugely experienced racer went on to record three more successes the following campaign.<\/p>\n<p>McKean meanwhile will be tackling his second consecutive season in the GT5 Challenge. A former multiple national karting champion in Kenya, the teenage talent impressed last year in his debut car-racing campaign with a trio of overall top six finishes.\n  <\/p>\n<p>Also tackling a second campaign of Ginetta racing will be another exciting young driver in Hizzey. The Sussex based racer starred in the G40 Cup last year, going on a run of seven consecutive podium finishes at one stage before ending the season in style with a maiden win at Donington Park.\n  <\/p>\n<p>Andy Johnson, team principal: <em>\u201cWe enjoyed a great season in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge last year, so there was no doubt that we wanted to be back on the grid again. I\u2019m delighted with the driver line-up we have and feel we can push for some real success.<\/em>\n  <\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou know what you\u2019re going to get with Alistair when he goes on track; he\u2019s very fast, totally committed and is capable of some big results. Rory [McKean] had a brilliant first season with no previous testing under his belt, and he\u2019s ready to build on everything he learnt last year.<\/em>\n  <\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLast season allowed Owen [Hizzey] to learn all about rear-wheel drive, slick tyres and the characteristics of the Ginetta G40, and I think he\u2019s going to shine this season in the GT5s. We can\u2019t wait to get the season started in May.\u201d<\/em>\n  <\/p>\n<p>Packed grids and close racing makes the Ginetta GT5 Challenge a popular entry-level championship for many aspiring GT racers.
