Elite Motorsport are on a run of four consecutive drivers\u2019 titles and return to defend their crown with a six strong line-up. Leading them is the highest placed returning driver from 2020, Seb Hopkins, who finished fifth in his debut campaign and scored an overall podium result.<\/p>\n
Will Jenkins joins him for a second season in the series having picked up a couple of rookie podiums last year, while Joe Warhurst moves to Elite for his first full campaign. Joining them are car-racing rookies Max Hall, Josh Rowledge and Jack Sherwood.\n <\/p>\n
After winning the teams\u2019 title last year, R Racing are targeting a first drivers\u2019 crown this season. Josh Miller joins the team as the only driver on the 2021 grid to have previously won a Ginetta Junior race, following his success in the Brands Hatch season finale back in November.\n <\/p>\n
Tom Edgar was another leading rookie last year and will be one to watch this season alongside fellow overall podium finishers Freddie Tomlinson and Aston Millar. The team\u2019s entry is completed by rookies Callum Voisin, brother of 2020 front-runner Bailey, and Ian Aguilera.\n <\/p>\n
History was made in the Ginetta Junior Scholarship last December when for the first time, two drivers won a fully-funded season in the championship. The victors, Robert de Haan and Maurice Henry, will race with Richardson Racing and Fox Motorsport respectively.\n <\/p>\n
The two other drivers to reach the Scholarship top four, Harri Reynolds and Maxwell Dodds, are both on the grid this year too with Assetto Motorsport. Breakell Racing\u2019s Aqil Alibhai and Preptech UK\u2019s Fergus Chalmers reached the final eight meanwhile.\n <\/p>\n
Oliver Flashman and Edward Pearson join de Haan in Richardson Racing\u2019s all-rookie entry, while second year driver Liam McNeilly remains with Fox. Assetto are also housing 2020 talent Joe Wheeler and Jamie Osborne, who previously raced in the series in 2018.\n <\/p>\n
James Higgins is back for a first full season with Preptech UK, while Race Car Consultants return to the grid for the first time since 2019 with Jacob Hodgkiss. A new team to the grid this season meanwhile is Raceway Motorsport, who are running Zac Meakin, and another new face will be privateer entrant Adam Brown. <\/p>\n
