A latest group of five drivers have signed up to compete in the Ginetta championships in 2025, meaning more than sixty entrants have now been announced for the upcoming campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katrina Ee, Joshua Henry and Matthew Chiwara are the latest newcomers signed up for the Ginetta Junior Championship, completing the driver line-up for series debutants Tim Gray Motorsport alongside the previously announced Josh Watts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ee [pictured above] will make history as the first ever driver from Malaysia to race in the championship. The young talent has enjoyed years of karting success in IAME Asia Series, Rotax Max Challenge Asia and ROK Cup Asia, which has been recognised by being selected as a More than Equal development driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henry enters Ginetta Juniors with a car-racing title already under his belt, with the Irish talent having won the ICCR Junior MINI Challenge in his homeland last year. Chiwara completes a hat-trick of Ginetta debutants for TGM, as he transitions from competing in the South African Kart Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katrina Ee: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m very excited to be competing in the 2025 Ginetta Junior Championship. This is an exciting new chapter in my racing career, as I take on the challenge of driving the more powerful and faster Ginetta Junior cars alongside my continued karting commitments.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joshua Henry: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be starting the next big chapter in my racing journey, stepping up to the prestigious Ginetta Junior Championship. I am looking forward to this new challenge and feel that with focus and determination, I\u2019m ready to push through and perform at my best.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGetting to race on some of the most iconic circuits in the world is a dream come true, and I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of my sponsors and family. Let\u2019s make this season unforgettable.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew Chiwara: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tim Gray, Tim Gray Motorsport: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very excited to welcome Katrina to the TGM team and be a part of her progress from karting into cars. She has shown tremendous improvement throughout the winter and is consistently building on her knowledge and skill.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJosh is a great addition to our driver line-up. He has impressed and improved in all of his testing and we are looking forward to building on his talent throughout the ultra-competitive junior Championship.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carl Garnett will make a welcome return to the GT Championship grid this season with Breakell Racing. A former two-time class vice-champion in the GT4 SuperCup, the York-based racer impressed with five overall podium finishes in the 2023 GT Championship. He added two more class trophies to his collection during a one-off appearance last year. He then went on to make his British GT debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carl Garnett: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

“I’m excited to be back in the Ginetta GT Championship for 2025 with Breakell Racing. The new G56 GTP8 looks and sounds great, and I enjoyed getting my first laps in during media day. I know a few of the guys racing this year and we’ve been closely matched in the past.<\/em> So, I’m sure there’s going to be some good battles! I’m really looking forward to being part of it.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

James Breakell, Breakell Racing: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

“We’re delighted to welcome Carl back to the team for 2025 in the Ginetta GT Championship. He’s enjoyed some fantastic results in Ginetta racing over the last few years.<\/em> We’re sure he’ll get up to speed quickly in the new car and be challenging for trophies this season.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robin Grimwood will continue his successful Ginetta career this year with a return to the GT Academy grid with E3 Sport. He started his Ginetta journey back in 2018. He enjoyed spells in GRDC and G40 Cup before stepping up to the GT Academy in 2021. Recently, he enjoyed some strong results behind the wheel of a G56 GTA in recent seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robin Grimwood: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be back on the grid for most of the 2025 season in the Ginetta GT Academy with E3 Sport! Returning for the final race last year reignited my passion.<\/em> I can\u2019t wait to get stuck into the new season. The competitive GTA format and packed grid make it an exciting challenge<\/em>. It\u2019s fantastic to be back with Jim and the whole E3 Sport team.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
