{"id":6472,"date":"2025-03-17T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginetta.com\/?p=6472"},"modified":"2025-04-03T15:24:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T14:24:28","slug":"ginetta-challenge-returns-for-exciting-2025-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginetta.com\/us\/news\/ginetta-challenge-returns-for-exciting-2025-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Ginetta Challenge Returns For Exciting 2025 Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The 2025 season of Ginetta\u2019s one-make championship in North America, the Ginetta Challenge, begins later this month with a fantastic 20-car entry signed up to contest the opening round at Road Atlanta.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Introduced to the North America racing scene last year, the Ginetta Challenge is a spec series utilising the popular Ginetta G56 GTA platform. After a brilliant maiden campaign, the series is set for a bigger and better sophomore season with increased entry numbers and solo grids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 season will run from March to October, with five events at historic race tracks in North America. These will include our first trips to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Barber Motorsport Park. Each event will incorporate a pair of 30-minute sprint races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The championship, sanctioned through SVRA, will once again run on the popular SpeedTour package. Races will be live streamed globally via SpeedTour.TV on YouTube. Pirelli continues as the official tyre supplier. Entrants will benefit from trackside parts support from Ginetta North America at all rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Mike Simpson \u2013 Chief Executive of Ginetta Motorsport:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cLaunching the Ginetta Challenge last year was a big step in expanding our brand beyond the UK.<\/em> <em>We were delighted to<\/em> <em>bring a dedicated racing series to our loyal customer base in North America.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe inaugural year for the series was a real success.<\/em> <em>It built up a lot of interest in Ginetta and the G56 GTA in North America.
