Ginetta GT Academy race-winner Harry Gamble has completed Elite Motorsport\u2019s four-car entry for the 2025 Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship, while Henry Cameron is the latest teenager to sign up for the Ginetta Junior Championship.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nottingham-based racer becomes the sixth driver from the GT Academy class of 2024 to confirm their progression up the Ginetta ladder to the GT Championship. He remains with Elite Motorsport to race a brand-new Ginetta G56 GTP8<\/a> after a tremendous rookie class title challenge together last year in his first season of car-racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gamble [pictured above] recorded five race wins and 15 podium finishes across the campaign, continuing a successful Ginetta legacy for his family. Harry and his brothers Tom and George, former Junior and GT5 Challenge champions respectively, have recorded a total of 30 Ginetta wins between them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry Gamble: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m very much looking forward to racing the new GTP8 and I think it\u2019s the perfect step up for me from the Ginetta Academy. I didn’t really know what to expect going into my first racing season last year but overall I was quite happy with everything, pleased to be racing at the front from the start and fighting for wins.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt the end of the season, it was mix of surprise and disappointment. Most of the season I led the championship but some bad luck in the middle put us on the back foot. Winning four out of the last five races was a nice way to end the season in my first year which was really positive.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStaying with Elite was a no brainer as they taught me a lot throughout last year and really improved me as a driver. Hopefully we can build on that this year. My aims for this season are to improve my skills as a driver and hopefully fight for results at the sharp end of the grid against much more experienced drivers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eddie Ives, Elite Motorsport: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m really pleased that Harry is continuing up the motorsport ladder with us. We have a great relationship with the entire Gamble family and Harry will be a big asset to our 2025 team. He developed so fast in the 2024 GT Academy which I\u2019m confident he will convert into the new GTP8 car. I can\u2019t wait for more success with him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest addition to the 2025 Ginetta Junior Championship grid has been announced too, with Henry Cameron confirmed as the second member of Fox Motorsport\u2019s line-up alongside fellow rookie class contender Freddie Lloyd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 14-year-old talent, son of Le Mans 24 Hours podium finisher Duncan Cameron, made his car-racing debut with Fox Motorsport in the 2024 Junior Winter Series. He finished all three races with a best result of ninth overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Henry Cameron: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to step up to a full season of Ginetta Juniors with Fox Motorsport. Ever since I drove the car for the first time, it\u2019s been the target to race in the main series. I\u2019ve been doing as much as I can in the sim for more than a year to learn the tracks, but it\u2019s no substitute for real life and the couple of days testing we\u2019ve had this year have been eye-opening.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a learning year but there\u2019s no reason why it can\u2019t be a good one. I\u2019m especially looking forward to racing at my home track \u2013 Oulton Park \u2013 early in the year.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul McNeilly, Fox Motorsport: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re very pleased that, following an impressive car-racing debut in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series, Henry has chosen to stay with Fox Motorsport for the full 2025 season.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe\u2019s made strong progress in testing so far \u2013 especially when you consider he only drove the car for the first time a couple of days before the Winter Series. Right now, we\u2019re working to make sure he\u2019s as prepared as possible for the start of the season so we can be in the thick of the action when the lights go out at Donington.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
