After securing the GTA honours in the GT Academy in 2023, he went on to produce a stunning charge to the GT Championship AM class crown this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wiltshire-based racer finished on the class podium in every single race, taking 20 wins and even finishing first overall on three occasions. He will now step up to race a Raceway Motorsport-prepared G56 GTP8 with the continued support of Asset Advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Nick White:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;I\u2019m thrilled to be racing in the 2025 Ginetta GT Championship with Raceway Motorsport and continuing my partnership with Asset Advantage. Ginetta have put together an incredible car, and after testing the GTP8, I\u2019m even more excited for what\u2019s to come. With the great success of 2023 and 2024, I\u2019m looking forward to picking up right where we left off!&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor meanwhile will step up the Ginetta ladder to the GT Championship for his second season of racing after a sensational debut campaign in the GT Academy. He recorded a brilliant eight overall race wins and 14 podium finishes en-route to the rookie title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After working with engineering duo Alan and Nick Mugglestone during his GT Academy season, the Buckingham-based racer has joined their Triple M Motorsport outfit for his transition to the GT Championship next year behind the wheel of the new G56 GTP8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Mike Taylor:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;I\u2019m thoroughly excited to be competing in the\u00a0challenging new Ginetta GT Championship for 2025, backed by the wealth of experience\u00a0from my chosen team at Triple M Motorsport. The teenage talent contested two partial campaigns in the series, scoring a best result of eighth overall and six Freshman\u2019s Cup podiums this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Davies got his first taste of the GT Championship with a guest appearance in the championship on the penultimate weekend at Donington Park. After impressing with a hat-trick of top six finishes overall, he will remain with Breakell Racing for his full-time transition to senior racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Alfie Davies:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m extremely proud and excited to announce I will be competing in the Ginetta GT Championship next year, having competed in a guest round in 2024. I can\u2019t wait to continue where I left off, with the arrival of the new G56 GTP8 the series is set to provide some extremely exciting and entertaining racing. Like Davies, he got a first taste of the championship with a one-off appearance this year, scoring a pair of AM class podium finishes on the opening weekend at Oulton Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Townsend brings plenty of experience to the grid next year, having recorded over 100 race starts in Ginetta machinery including spells in the GT5 Challenge and GT4 SuperCup. He\u2019s raced Ginetta G56 GT4\u2019s over the past two years too, winning the 2023 British GT \u2018GT4 AM\u2019 drivers\u2019 title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>James Townsend: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m excited to return to single-make racing. I believe the new GT Championship format is a great way to balance both the cut and thrust of sprint racing whilst being more strategic and rewarded for maintaining focus via the endurance race on Sundays. I\u2019m teaming up with my team from last year <a href=\"https:\/\/svgmotorsport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SVG Motorsport<\/a> with one goal in mind and that\u2019s to win a championship.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Andy Johnson, SVG Motorsport: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe are proud and excited to announce Ginetta veteran James Townsend will be in our GTP8 line-up for next season.
