The Lancashire based team enjoyed an impressive first season of one-make Ginetta racing in 2021, producing strong performances across the GT4 SuperCup, Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship and Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge.<\/p>\n
After running a single car for Reece Somerfield in the GT4 SuperCup, the team are expanding to at least a three car entry this year. Former two-time race-winner Somerfield returns with them for his 11th consecutive season in the championship, having narrowly missed out on visiting the podium in 2021.\n <\/p>\n
Joining the team for his GT4 SuperCup debut will be Wes Pearce. The former superbike racer made his four-wheel debut in the GT5 Challenge back in 2019, and went on to excel in the GT Academy last season with two class wins and eight podium finishes.\n <\/p>\n
Completing the Clitheroe-based team\u2019s GT4 SuperCup line-up as it stands is Callahan, who remains with the team after a strong Ginetta debut in the GT5 Challenge season finale last year. Whilst his team-mates will race in the new Ginetta G56 GT4, the Essex racer will be behind the wheel of a G55.\n <\/p>\n
Alongside their expanded GT4 SuperCup entry, the team will be competing in the GT Academy for the first time with racing novice Leo Karavasili. He will be competing on both the track and the slopes this year, as he represents Britain on the international alpine skiing circuit. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s shaping up to be an exciting year.\u201d<\/em>\n <\/p>\n The Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup is Ginetta\u2019s flagship championship. In 2022, the series will be contested over seven race weekends in support of the British Touring Car Championship, with a major change seeing the introduction of the Ginetta G56 GT4 as the lead car.\n <\/p>\n The Ginetta GT Academy meanwhile gives drivers of all experience levels the opportunity to enjoy entry level GT racing.
