Racing after winning their 2022 scholarship. Over 100 people entered the contest, with Taylor emerging victorious following driving assessments (including a run in a G55), fitness tests, and media exercises.<\/p>\n<p>The 20 year old started his car-racing career as the Ginetta Junior scholarship winner for 2018. He went on to excel in that series, winning four races in his second season before taking a clean sweep of victories en-route to the Winter Series title.\n  <\/p>\n<p>Taylor stepped up into the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2020 and took the battle for the drivers\u2019 title down to the final race of the season. Three wins and an impressive tally of 11 podium finishes in 14 races would ultimately secure him the runners up spot.\n  <\/p>\n<p><strong>James Taylor:<\/strong> <em>\u201cReturning to the grid for 2022 is something I didn\u2019t think would happen after sitting out last season, especially in the GT4 SuperCup. It\u2019s a championship I\u2019ve always dreamt of racing in, so I can\u2019t thank the team enough for the opportunity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy eyes are firmly set on the class title this year. I\u2019m implementing as much as possible into my testing programme in order to get back up to speed with the other drivers. I can\u2019t wait to start the season and begin developing a strong relationship with Team HARD and all its members. I hope to push the team forwards and get them some strong results they deserve.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tony Gilham, Team HARD Managing Director:<\/strong> <em>\u201cWe had an incredible entry to the 2022 Scholarship and saw lots of talent across the board.
