We&#8217;re sure there will be many close battles up and down the grid! For 2024, the Championship will host a Pro \/ Am grid of G56 GT Pro race cars. Many familiar names are stepping up for the chance of a lifetime. They&#8217;ll not only win the championship, but also use of a Ginetta GT4 in British GT in 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Pro category, Xentek Motorsport will be represented by brothers Conner Garlick and Luke Garlick. Luke had to fight all the way to the final race of the season, before being crowned the 2023 GT5 champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019ll be competing against Ginetta Junior Rookie graduate McKenzie Douglass (Fox Motorsport). Douglass made his Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship debut at the final round of 2023. He secured a podium in his first race.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Am category, Raceway Motorsports\u2019 2023 GTA Overall Champion Nick White takes his next step up the GT Racing ladder. After a season long back and forth battle, he won the championship at the final round!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After making the switch from the Want2Race team at the final round of the 2023 season, Rookie Champion Matt Shaw joins Raceway Motorsport alongside White. The two may be teammates but with both close on track, we could be in for a thrilling championship battle!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two-time Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Vice-Champion Carl Garnett (Breakell Racing) returns to the grid for his second season of Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship in the Am category.&nbsp;Joining Garnett at Breakell Racing is Alex Toth-Jones, a 3 season Ginetta G40 GT5 contender who achieved 4 podiums in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making their full season debut, MDD Racing hosts GTA rookie graduate Paul Livesey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scott McKenna, 2019 GT5 champion, joins the grid this weekend with MDD Racing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Pro and Am drivers are looking good in testing. It\u2019s anyone\u2019s guess as to who will end up as champion this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship will feature close racing and thrilling battles.
