Luke Reade leads the way as we kick off the second half of the inaugural Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship season this weekend at Snetterton (17\/18 June).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reade (Wolf Motorsport) established himself as the driver to beat with a sensational run of six consecutive wins to start the campaign. Those results help the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup graduate build a healthy championship lead that now sits at 88 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reade didn\u2019t have it all his own way last time out at Silverstone, only collecting three podiums across the G Fest event. However, a lot of the success went to non-points scoring guest drivers. So, he still came away with an increasing lead atop the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the stars of the show at G Fest was Ruben Hage. Ruben took a stunning victory hat-trick on the Silverstone GP circuit as part of a clean sweep of all seven victories across the event for Breakell Racing. A penalty from the Donington Park weekend though means Hage sits back in fifth in the points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carl Garnett (Breakell Racing) lies second in the standings, just a single point ahead of Callum Davies (SVG Motorsport). While the latter outscores out his rival by eight podiums to five so far as both seek a maiden win, Garnett benefits from a more consistent run of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ginetta stalwart Colin White (CWS 4×4) has put in some vintage performances in recent events. He’s successfully took his first three podiums of the campaign. Donington Park race-winner Conner Garlick (Xentek Motorsport) is one to watch as he fights back after a tough G Fest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liona Theobald (SVG Motorsport) and SF Racing pair Shawn Fleming and Gary Wager have enjoyed some strong performances this year. A new addition to the GT Pro ranks this weekend is Bal Sidhu (Xentek Motorsport). Bal has really stepped up, having all but wrapped up the 2023 GT5 Am title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GT5 Pro contenders have produced some of the most exciting Ginetta racing this season meanwhile. Luke Garlick (Xentek Motorsport) leads the pack. He’s had podium finishes more times than anyone else in the class. His nine visits includes four trips to the top step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ella Lloyd (Xentek Motorsport) provides his closest competition in the points, with the Ginetta Junior graduate having also won four times to date. Will Rochford (TCR) has contested only eight races so far this season and impressively finished on the podium seven times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long-time GT5 Am front-runner Karim Sekkat (Breakell Racing) has starred with four podiums on his transition to the Pro class,. Sam Harvey (Xentek Motorsport) has also collected silverware this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
