Job Profile
Ginetta is looking for a QC Inspector who will ensure that all inspection, documentation and testing activities within our organisation are completed in an accurate manner and that all materials received into the company have been confirmed to meet required specifications.
Job duties:
- Point of contact to ensure that all material supplied into the organisation meets the required standards established by drawings, specifications and similar documentation.
- Completing inspection and quality assurance activities in Goods Inwards
- Supporting the shop floor by supplying accurate feedback on any manufacturing errors
- Conducting measurement analysis work for various departments as and when required
- Inspect sampling and establishing risk with new levels of inspection density.
- Management of the instruments, measurement tools and calibration.
- Completing inspections, assessments and providing documented reports clearly identifying deficiencies and non-conformance to specifications and drawings.
- Completion of technical machine shop inspection using 3D CMM measuring equipment (in addition to basic mechanical measurement activities).
- Complete reports to sign off
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
- Designing, reviewing and updating quality control policies and procedures
- Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production
- Creating and modifying CMM programmes on QCT
- Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet required standards
- Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
- Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Supporting the shop floor by supplying accurate feedback on any manufacturing errors
- Conducting measurement analysis work for various departments as and when required.
Qualifications/experience required:
- Understanding and experience in interpreting engineering drawings, certifications and standard requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and ability to evaluate and problem solve
- Ability to quickly establish and where appropriate, further develop effective relationships with key internal staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with challenging situations
- Be resilient and positively adapt to change
