The Time Is Almost Here, Our Ginetta LMP1 Will Make Its Public Debut This Week

8th January 2018 • Ruth Harrison-Davies

The covers are set to come off the all-new Ginetta LMP1 this week. The highly-anticipated Manor/TRS chassis will make its public debut at Autosport International on Thursday 11 January.

If you’re heading to the show this week, make sure you pay a visit to Ginetta’s stand (6430 in Hall 6) to be amongst the first people outside of the manufacturer’s HQ to see the LMP1 in all its glory, which is bound for the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championships including Le Mans 24 Hours.

You will see the wraps taken off at 11:00 on Thursday 11 January, with a drinks reception from 10:30 to get the crowd warmed up. Everyone with a ticket into the show is welcome. Don’t worry if you can’t make it, Ginetta will bring the launch directly to the public with a live broadcast on the Ginetta Cars Facebook page.

If that wasn’t enough to tempt you, we’ll have Louise Goodman hosting proceedings, with Ginetta Chairman, Lawrence Tomlinson, Ginetta Technical Director, Ewan Baldry and Manor Endurance Racing Sporting Director, Graeme Lowdon all on hand for a Q & A following the big reveal.

If you’re unable to make it to the Trade Days, don’t panic. The LMP1 will be on display on the Ginetta stand for all four days of the Autosport International show, along with our G40, G55 GT4 and G58 from the Ginetta range. Our friendly staff will be on hand to discuss all things Ginetta, including our exciting, new arrive-and-drive incentive for first-time racers.

The entertainment continues into the Live Action Arena too, with a Ginetta Racing Drivers Club race as well as demonstrations of the G55 GT4 and G58, plus an interview with our very own Factory Driver, Charlie Robertson.

See you there!
