The Ginetta G55 GT4 was once again on top form in the FFSA GT Championship last weekend (11 / 12 May) claiming five trophies across the pair of races in Pau.

Pascal Destembert’s team enjoyed another successful weekend in the FFSA GT Championship, as they claimed two class wins and a total of five class podiums in Grand Prix de Pau.

The #7 Ginetta G55 GT4 of Team Speed Car was the highest-placed of the sextet of Ginettas and started the opening race from second on the grid

Saturday’s night race saw Douglas Lundberg and Pierre Courroye bring their G55 home in second position. After a fantastic session their teammates, Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche, completed the podium in third overall. In the Am class, the team also claimed a class victory with Rodolphe Wallgren.

On Sunday, Consani and Lariche managed to go one better as they claimed their second win of the season, making it a clean sweep of podium finishes for the duo thus far. The #7 car of Lundberg / Courroye enjoyed an equally successful race, finishing second.

The result means that Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche reinforce their championship lead. The duo now has a 36-point lead at the head of the standings, prior to the next round on July 13 - July 15 at Circuit Dijon-Prenois.
