Ginetta Open Day : Piston Heads Sunday Service

7th February 2018 • Ruth Harrison-Davies

Our factory is cool. There’s no denying that. So, it’s no surprise that we're constantly being asked for factory tours of Ginetta HQ by our loyal followers. We try - once every year - to open our doors to the public and show off what we do here in Yorkshire. We even provide tea and biscuits.

Given Autosport International already seems like a distant memory, we decided to team up with our friends at Piston Heads and host their first Sunday Service of the year here at Ginetta towers.

If you’ve been before, you can vouch for the popularity of the day. That’s mainly because we let our guests get up close and personal to all of the cars, plus, we offer every visitor an in-depth factory tour, showing you all of the various production processes - including engine assembly, engine dyno, chassis construction and carbon fibre moulding - with our friendly staff on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Our car park isn’t huge, and we have a struggle convincing the Ginetta team to spend an entire day at work on their Sunday off, so we are limited to just 200 guests at this year’s event, with the tours being conducted on a first come, first served basis, so make sure to sign yourself up on arrival - once you've had your tea and biscuits, of course. Obviously, you don't have to go on a tour, there'll be plenty more to look at too, but they are a fantastic and exclusive insight into how Ginetta works.
