Ginetta Junior Summer Camp

Ginetta will host a two-day summer camp for aspiring young racing drivers at Blyton Park from 28 to 29 August. Drivers will sit alongside professional racing drivers and undertake fitness and media training as they learn what it takes to make a career in motorsport.

The two-day event will feature tuition from professional racing drivers both on and off the track. It will increase participants’ levels of understanding of the sport, with a holistic approach to preparing for a career in motorsport thanks to fitness and media training sessions.

The programme has been designed by Ginetta’s in-house Factory Drivers Mike Simpson and Charlie Robertson. The latter of which started his motorsport career in the Ginetta Junior Championship, and recently returned from making his debut in the Le Mans 24 Hours behind the wheel of the Ginetta G60-LT-P1.

Ambitious racers will enjoy one-to-one tuition behind the wheel of a Ginetta G40 Junior car throughout both days, with each session tailored to their own individual needs.  On-track driving will be complemented by V-Box data sessions, where drivers can compare their data to that of their professional driver coach. This provides a focus for analysis and improvement.

To take part in Ginetta’s Junior Summer Camp, drivers must be aged between 13 and 17. Previous circuit experience is not necessary as all activities have been designed to suit everyone from first-time drivers to karting graduates.

The cost to enrol is £2,200 inc. VAT.
