Materials Technician

Job Profile

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Materials Technician within our Carbon Shop.  The individual will be responsible for operating our CNC ply cutter creating parts for our various race and road car projects, as well as general workshop duties, including but not limited to, demoulding, mould maintenance, general housekeeping Etc.

Experience with operating machinery, windows excel, and/or in composite kit cutting would be beneficial but not essential providing candidates can show a good level of attention to detail and precision

Key responsibilities:

• Operating CNC ply cutting machine
• Create kits of materials for laminating team
• Control stock of both rolls of material and part kits
• Demoulding composite parts
• Maintaining moulds to a high standard
• Cutting/preparing core materials
