The search is on for the face of the ultimate endurance kart race to bring the added sparkle and glamour this event deserves. Open to all females over the age of 18, this provides a unique opportunity to not only become the face of the main charity event but also the organisers and sponsors have thrown in some additional benefits set to make this a popular competition for all those ‘lovely Leeds lasses’.
Entries will be judged throughout October, with the winner being offered an exclusive grid girl opportunity at one of the Ginetta race events, supporting the British Touring Cars and live on ITV4, which is broadcast to thousands of motorsport fans worldwide.
Lawrence Tomlinson, Chairman of Ginetta said; “The PPiK Ginetta 24 is a perfect opportunity for two Yorkshire-based motorsport companies to raise money for charity. By running the Yorkshire Gird Girl competition, we are able to offer aspiring models with a keen interest in motorsport a valuable step up the career ladder.”
In addition, PPiK are offering the winner to become their ‘face’ of 2013 with over 30,000 posters, displays and brochures being printed with the winners images.
Ben Hyland, event Co-Ordinator, from PPiK said; “We’re looking for some friendly faces to enter this competition, this isn’t anything like ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ from the TV, it is a local competition to help raise awareness for our event and charity fundraising whilst offering someone a fantastic opportunity to potentially unlock a Yorkshire born star.”
Entries are open now, for anyone over the age of 18. It costs just £10 to enter (payable via the event’s Just Giving page with all proceeds going directly to the charity. Further details can be found on the event’s Facebook page or on the main PPiK Or Ginetta websites.
