After the short summer break which followed Ginetta G50 Cup Italia’s Austrian round, Ginetta Italy-Nova Race return to the track for a new international appointment on 24-25 August.
Two Ginetta G50 GT4 cars will be protagonists in the next VLN endurance championship race which takes place around the world-famous Nurburgring this weekend.
Along the 25 kilometers of the legendary German track, five drivers will share the two British racing cars. The white G50 GT4 car will be piloted by Matteo Cressoni, Paolo Necchi and Roberto Nale whilst the orange G50, will see Tiziano Frazza and Luis Scarpaccio take the wheel.
This weekend is an important test for Nova Race after the positive results achieved on 24 Hours race last May: the Italian team wants a good result both in overall standing and in SP10 class - for this race more than 150 cars are expected at Nordschleife in front of many fans who comes ever for VLN races.
The racing weekend will begin on Friday with the free practice sessions while the qualifying times are set on Saturday morning from 8.30; the race - on 4 hours distance - will see the green lights on midday.
