Jamie Orton is lined up to bring his enthusiastic driving style to the 2012 Ginetta GT Supercup after buying Adam Morgan’s 2011 championship winning machine.
The Caterham Superlight R300 champion will compete in the former Ciceley Racing G55 which steered Adam Morgan to his championship crown last season.
Speaking of Orton’s move to Ginetta, Championship Co-ordinator Max Gregory said; “Jamie’s first run with us wasn’t representative of his pace. This year will be a different story. He’s got great car control and with some more seat time he’ll be one to watch.”
Having made a one-off appearance at the final round of the Ginetta GT Supercup’s final round at Silverstone with Total Control Racing, Orton was clearly bitten by the Ginetta bug, having shown great pace.
